HarvestHelp

HarvestHelp is a web application designed to connect farmers and agricultural workers with on-demand services, enabling farmers to quickly find and vet trusted workers in their area. While traditional hiring is done via larger job sites, rural farmers face a problem of scarcity of workers and unpredictable timeframes, highlighting a need for a localized and dedicated tool. To help validate product-market-fit with a set of ideal customers, a simple feature-focused prototype was created, prioritizing a clean, intuitive interface, clear job post and search patterns, and worker transparency. Additionally, a user research plan was developed to guide the owner's customer discovery efforts, including survey materials and feedback frameworks to help validate key assumptions with farmers and agricultural workers. Although still in the user research phase, the process has already resulted in a data-driven MVP phase, and a more knowledgable client.
