COPD App

Developed as part of a clinical trial, this native iOS app helps COPD patients and their caregivers proactively monitor their health. The app syncs with wearable devices to automatically track vitals and surface anomalies that could signal an upcoming exacerbation, while also enabling manual entry of blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and symptoms. Smart reminders keep users on track with appointments, medications, and immunizations, and curated resources from sources like the COPD Foundation provide helpful information when they need it. This project is a complete redesign of an initial prototype, expanded to include a more robust feature set, alignment with SwiftUI and iOS development standards, and full design documentation. The interface prioritizes clarity and ease-of-use while giving the user freedom to customize their tracking parameters. By consolidating vitals monitoring, manual tracking, and care management in one intuitive experience, the app helps users move from reactive to proactive health management—potentially reducing emergency events and improving quality of life.
